Hello!

I am Jo Boland ‘Jo Bo’, owner of Jo Bo Blooms, a fully qualified florist with distinctions in both Level 2 Technical Award in Floristry and Level 3 Diploma in Floristry. I studied locally at the Academy of Floristry in Bournemouth; a lovely, dedicated floristry college close to home.

I run my floristry business from a converted outbuilding on the edge of Alderholt, a village on the Dorset / Hampshire border, close to Fordingbridge. My workshop used to be an old washhouse some 60 years ago and has a gorgeous, exposed brick wall which is nearly 300 years old. The other side of that brick wall is an inglenook fireplace in what was the original little cottage to stand in the grounds. The little cottage fell into disrepair many years ago but has since been rebuilt with new walls and roof and the original chimney repaired. In this space I run occasional floristry workshops, such as Christmas wreath workshops.

As I am workshop based and do not have a shop front I deliver the flowers in my floral van.
